Get to know AMG’s most beautiful car yet, inside and out.

Here at EDGAR, we're big believers that if you can make something bigger, better, faster or more beautiful, you should do it. And in that regard, Mercedez-Benz's high-performance arm, AMG, is in a class of its own.

Its latest creation is the achingly beautiful 2016 AMG GT - a car with such breathtaking looks that it could take its power from a one-litre moped engine and we'd still want to buy one.

But fortunately the GT is packing something rather more ferocious in the form of a four-litre bi-turbo V8 that's good for 456bhp in the base and a grizzly 503bhp in the uprated GT S version. And all that power will propel you from 0-100km/h in just 4.0 seconds - or 3.8 seconds if you plump for the S.

Both models are mated to Merc's excellent Speedshift seven-speed gearbox and come with a massive set of 15.8-inch ceramic breaks to ensure stopping power is just as impressive as the acceleration.

While all the facts and figures certainly make for good reading, the most impressive thing about the GT is always going to be those smoking hot looks. Simply stunning.
