If you're trying to impress an important client, looking to treat your team or even if you're simply sick of the fast food joint next to your office, here are 10 Dubai business lunches that are a million times better than your local sandwich shop:


Venue: Sleek, sophisticated dining spot in the heart of DIFC. Aimed at the high-flying business crowd.

Food: Contemporary Japanese fare cooked to the highest standard. Expect miso soup; seared beef with soy, garlic, ginger and lime; assorted sashimi, lime wasabi ponzu and kumquat; and miso-marinated black cod wrapped in hoba leaf.

Venue: A Dubai institution, Emirates Towers stalwart The Ivy is an elegant venue with an understatedly luxurious feel that's sure to impress clients. 

Food: Classic British cookery given a refined twist. Think duck, orange and cress salad; fish and chips with minted pea purée; corn-fed chicken breast with foi gras and roast garlic potatoes; and banana sticky toffee pudding.

The Rib Room

Venue: Located on the ground floor of Emirates Towers, The Rib Room's dark panelled walls and luxurious leather seats give it a distinctly high-end feel.

Food: Delicate starters such as Scottish salmon carpaccio and Cesar salad served with confit cherry tomato give way to hearty mains including Australian lamb chops, USDA rib-eye steak and oven-baked mac 'n' cheese.
