F1 after-parties: where to celebrate after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The best bars, restaurants and nightclubs to head to after the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix.Peter Iantorno November 24, 2015
With Lewis Hamilton having already sealed the F1 World Championship title, the on-track action at this weekend’s Abu Dhabi Formula One is largely redundant.
However, the bars and nightclubs on and around Yas Island certainly won't be ending the party early. In fact, they have planned a line-up of epic after-parties that will more than make up for any lack of racing drama.
Here are the best Abu Dhabi Formula One 2015 after-parties, from celebrity-packed soirees to raves until dawn.
You can’t get any closer to the action than a party in the Yas Viceory – the very hotel that overlooks the track! To celebrate the occasion, the hotel is putting on a number of different events, including its official Viceroy After Race Party at Latitude Bar on the ninth floor of the main building.
There’ll also be a pop-up from one of Dubai’s favourite rooftop bars, 40 Kong, which will be setting up shop at the hotel’s own rooftop venue, Skylite, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Plus, Sunset Monaco will be taking over the hotel’s atmospheric lounge Palm Garden; Dubai’s Cirque Le Soir will be bringing its brand of craziness to the Rush Club on Friday; and 1 OAK will be taking over the same venue for the Saturday and Sunday.
VIP Room at Cipriani
Classy Yas Marina restaurant Cipriani will be transforming into one of the hottest nightclubs in the city over race weekend, as it partners with VIP Room to bring Akon (Friday), Ludacris (Saturday) and 50 Cent (Sunday) to the venue.

The Podium Lounge
Just a short hop over the road from the Viceroy, the du Forum will be the location for what promises to be the largest-scale party of the weekend, The Podium Lounge.
The likes of Grammy-nominated dance act Freemasons, one half of LMFAO, Miles Slater and Joey Negro will be appearing over the three days in front of up to 3,000 partygoers.
Eden Beach Club at Yas Island Rotana
Just a five-minute walk away from the circuit, Yas Island Rotana will be hosting an Ibiza-inspired weekend brought to you by one of Dubai’s hottest beach clubs, Eden. Friday night sees Hamburg house heavyweight Solomun headline, while Sunday will be full of Balearic party atmosphere as Ibiza legend Sven Vath will be appearing.

Amber Lounge and Amber Lounge F1 Yacht
If The Podium Lounge is the biggest party in town, Amber Lounge has to be the most exclusive. The 2014 edition saw the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and even Prince Harry get involved in the partying. This year Amber Lounge will host a private performance from British star Craig David, and no doubt another bevvy of celebrity guests.
For those who really want to push the boat out, the uber-luxurious Amber Lounge F1 Yacht, which has played host to the likes of Kim Kardiashian, Jennifer Lawrence and Gareth Bale in the past, is the place to be.
Details: Two-day yacht package starts from AED 18,181. amber-lounge.com
Iris Abu Dhabi
For the serious partygoer, Iris Abu Dhabi, overlooking the Yas Viceroy, is the destination of choice. Why? Well, not only does it have a packed weekend schedule including artists such as French-German DJ and producer JC Ades and Romanian sensation Adrian Efrimie, but it also stays open until 6am!
