Russia - Ukraine: The Reverse Berlin Wall?

Amid the political tit-for-tat and threatening rhetoric from the US and EU, it's been easy to forget that in February this year 88 people were killed in Ukraine's capital Kiev, in just 48 hours. While the people of Ukraine are busy arguing over their country's allegiance to Russia or Europe - they go the polls on May 25 - the business world has been on its toes as it tries to predict the fallout for Kiev's oil and gas supply and the effect it will have on the markets, not ignoring that its economy is heavily in debt. To make this easier to understand - and let's be honest, who doesn't appreciate something in picture form - Saxo Bank has drawn up this nifty infographic as it asks the question, are we witnessing the reverse example of the Berlin Wall?
