Sony Xperia C3 Middle East release date announced

July 9, 2014
Selfies have never quite been our bag, but if you're one of those people who can't resist snapping themselves at every opportunity, then this is definitely the phone for you. The Sony Xperia C3 - dubbed 'the world's best selfie smartphone' - is completely geared around taking the perfect selfie. (Sony has even released an infographic on the 'science behind the selfie' to go with it.) It's equipped with the brand's new 5.0-megapixel, wide-angle, front-facing PROselfie camera, as well as loads of clever photo-editing apps. But although Sony seems to be hanging its hat on the whole selfie concept, that's not all the phone has got to offer. With a 5.5-inch HD display and powerful Snapdragon Quad-Core 1.2-Ghz processor, video calls should be clearer than on most laptops. At just 7.6mm thick and a featherweight 150g, the C3 certainly won't weigh you down, and an there's also an improved battery life, which can be achieved through using the phone's STAMINA Mode 3.0. It's expected to retail in the UAE and Saudi Arabia from August 2014, priced at AED 1,199. Details: visit Sonymobile.com
