Zuma puts Turkey on the menu

June 9, 2014

We can't get enough of DIFC's high-end Japanese eatery, Zuma. It's never let us down for a business lunch or sophisticated evening meal, but in terms of a holiday destination, the financial district couldn't be further from our idea of rest and relaxation. Much more chilled would be somewhere like, say, the D-Hotel Maris in Turkey. And, oh look, a Zuma is opening there too. After a successful pop-up restaurant trail through summer last year, Rainer Becker - co-founder and creator of Zuma - has decided to open the restaurant permanently. Set high up on the hillside of the Datca Peninsula, Zuma sits on the hotel's terrace, offering breathtaking views of the craggy mountain range and pristine coastline below. With all the Zuma favourites including the freshest sushi and sashimi, jumbo tiger prawns with yuzu pepper and tender chilli lamb chops with pickled baby carrots and onions, plus a whole host of refreshing cocktails made by the resident mixologists, we reckon the food will more than match the view.
