What are your plans this National Day holiday? Rest? Relxation? How about watching a team of the world's leading dirtbikers, BMX riders and more aim to complete some of the most extreme stunts ever attempted in a spectacular show of skill and bravery?

If the latter is your idea of a perfect National Day then you're in luck, because it just so happens that from December 2-4, Masters of Dirt, the most anticipated extreme freestyle show of the year, rolls into town.

Featuring 17 of the world's top international FMX, BMX, MTB, Quad and Snowmobile riders, the high-octane performance is bound to be a thrill a second. Headlining the show will be world-renowned freestyle motocross riders Libor Podmol and Massimo Bianconcini, who have a reputation for pushing their stunts to the absolute limit.

Czech-born Podmol, the first non-American rider to win a gold medal in the Moto X Step up at the X Games in Texas, is also the man credited with coming up with the iconic FMX surfer take-off stunt, which is now widely used throughout the sport. The pair will be also be joined by the world's best snowmobile freestyler, Heath Frisby.

As well as the impressive list of high-flying performers, there'll also be two fire cube artists, six Fuel Girls and a live DJ to ensure that even when the stuntmen aren't in the air, the show will keep on pumping.

Javad Khoramifar, Marketing Director of XDubai, which is bringing the event to the emirate, said, “XDubai is thrilled to partner with Dubai World Trade Centre to bring one of the world’s most electrifying events to the emirate of Dubai for the very first time. Well reputed for their display of gravity defying performances and amazing pyrotechnics, we are confident that Masters of Dirt will give Dubai residents and visitors a show that is sure to keep their pulses racing”.

“Dubai is about to witness one of the most electrifying shows - including cliff-hangers, tsunamis, tail whips, back flips – you name it, we do it!” said Georg Fechter, founder of Masters of Dirt. “As a team, we pride ourselves on the fact that Masters of Dirt is exceptional and vastly different from any other freestyle sports event; we look forward to putting on a dynamic show for the audiences.”

So, which will it be? A restful National Day holiday full of peace and relaxation or the all-out assault on the senses that is the Masters of Dirt? We'll see you there.
