We’ve always said that day-to-day activities should not restrict you from wearing something fancy on your wrist, and we echo that for when you’re on holiday.

Truth is you’re understandably going to remove your Patek Philippe - or any one of these iconic watches - before you climb up that rock face. Likewise you're going to leave your Hermès Arceau Millefiori safely on the boat while you dive into the ocean.

So maybe what you need is this: the new Avenger Blackbird from Breitling.

The latest in the luxury watch brand’s Avenger line, the new timepiece looks every part the extreme sports man’s watch with a robust 48mm case and all-black appearance. We imagine it’s already on Dan Bilzerian’s checklist. breitlingblackbird1

On sale in UAE stores by the end of July, the Blackbird uses a titanium and military-style fabric strap and oversized hands and hour-markers with luminescent coating for optimal legibility, presumably for when you’re descending into that cave. It also has a screw-locked crown and is water-resistant to 1,000 feet.

Powered by a self-winding movement and with an ultra-resistant carbon-based treatment, even if you only wear this out for dinner it’s still going to look effortlessly cool.
