A helicopter safari over Yellowstone

The Four Seasons, Jackson Hole, offers the most incredible trip imaginable.

A luxury safari is probably on most people’s list of top holidays to go on at some point in their lives.

But with so many options of where to spot big animals – particularly in some of Africa’s most high-end game reserves – taking things to the next level requires thinking outside the box.

That’s exactly what Four Seasons Jackson Hole has done with the luxury resort in Wyoming, US, now offering a safari by helicopter.

The hotel will whisk guests into the sky for a very unique view of Yellowstone National Park and the Teton mountain range, in a top of the line Bell 407 helicopter.

Not only that, but the safari is led by an expert biologist who guides the flight to the best spots to see moose, elk, bison and mountain goats. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot a grizzly bear from 50ft.

Once you’ve tracked the game you want to photograph, or the park's phenomenal features such as the Old Faithful geezer, the pilot will land the chopper allowing you to explore on foot, before whisking you back to your luxury room at the hotel. Not a bad safari this one. Not bad at all.
