The luxury hotel will have a rooftop infinity pool, a load of new restaurants and residential apartments.

Dubai’s homegrown luxury hotel chain has so many similarly named properties in such a densely built town, that it’s easy to mix them up.

Surprisingly though, until now The Address brand hasn’t appeared on a beachfront. Enter, The Address Jumeirah Resort + Spa.

Placed on the only spot of beach left at the most southern tip of JBR, where the Bluewaters Island development connects to the mainland, the 74-storey, twin-tower, shimmering hotel is set to dominate the local skyline.

The 290-metres high development will have 182 rooms as well as serviced residences and residential apartments. There will be a rooftop infinity pool, 100-metres of beach to use and a spread of new restaurants and bars.

The building will function as two towers with separate cores. Connected through its base and at the top, where the penthouses and sky-lofts will be, one tower will be dedicated to the hotel and residences, while the other will be for the luxury apartments.

There will be terraces of greenery and outdoor lounges among the restaurants and pools, with the layout allowing each to cascade into another. Grand stairways will lead from the hotel’s lobby directly down to the beach.

There will be five restaurants and bar concepts in all, including a beach grille and rooftop lounge, while the all-day dining outlet will be connected to one of the pools.

Of course being a Dubai hotel, The Address JBR – as we imagine people will nickname it – will have its own spa. There will also be a 24/7 fitness centre.

Owned by Emaar, The Address currently has nine hotels and eight serviced residences in the UAE, either in operation or under development. While getting the right one while negotiating Dubai's Downtown traffic can be tricky, as its first beachside property this new hotel should be unique for the group.
