That’s the introduction to Robin Morgan’s Sisterhood Is Global. It’s a true stat, or at least it was in 1984.But while we may think that women’s rights and equality have come a long way since then, we shouldn’t be patting ourselves on the back just yet, gentlemen. According to the UN’s World’s Women 2015 report, we still have a long way to go before we plug the gender gap.
